Beniya Mukayu

Beniya Mukayu

Retreat

Yakushiyama, Japan

Beniya Mukayu sits on the slopes of Yakushiyama, known as "Healing Buddha Mountain," in Yamashiro Onsen in Japan's Ishikawa Prefecture — a site that was once home to Yakuoin Temple, where monks are said to have cared for travelers through hot spring bathing and medicinal herbs. The ryokan carries that legacy forward directly: all 16 guest rooms face the property's Forest Garden and include a private open-air onsen bath, turning bathing into a personal, any-hour ritual rather than a scheduled spa visit. The property draws its name from the Zen concept of Mukayu — richness found in emptiness — and its minimalist design, built from tatami matting, washi paper, bamboo and diatomaceous earth, reflects that same philosophy of restraint and stillness. Beyond the private in-room baths, guests can use two communal onsen — named Gensei and Usuko — separated by gender on a rotating schedule, and Spa Entei, the ryokan's dedicated treatment institute, which draws on Yamashiro's mineral-rich hot spring water (with a history spanning more than 1,300 years) and locally sourced medicinal herbs from Mt. Hakusan. Signature offerings include the Yakushiyama Treatment, built around onsen water and herbal remedies in direct homage to the mountain's healing history, alongside hot stone massages and herbal body scrubs. Guests can also join a hands-on Medicinal Herbal Ball Making experience with Spa Entei's therapists, selecting wild seasonal herbs, wrapping them in cotton cloth and steaming them in hot spring water to create their own take-home wellness ritual. Wellness at Beniya Mukayu extends into quieter, culturally rooted rituals as well: an afternoon tea ceremony hosted personally by the ryokan's owner in one of three on-site libraries, embodying the Japanese hospitality concept of omotenashi and the idea that every encounter is unrepeatable; and a guided flower appreciation and arrangement session in the property's gardens, rooted in the same tea-ceremony aesthetic. For guests wanting a more structured stay, the ryokan offers a dedicated "Yakushiyama Wellness Retreat" package weaving these elements — onsen bathing, herbal spa treatment, tea ceremony and quiet reflection — into a single multi-day experience, alongside kaiseki dinners built around seasonal ingredients gathered from Kaga's mountains, rivers, lakes and coastline.

Amanemu

Amanemu

Retreat

Ise-Shima, Japan

Amanemu sits against the forested hills of Ise-Shima National Park in Japan's Mie Prefecture, overlooking Ago Bay, and every accommodation — whether suite or villa — features its own private onsen bath and wooden decked terrace, extending the resort's hot-spring identity into the rooms themselves. At the center of the property is the 2,000-square-meter Aman Spa, built around a vast hot-spring bath fed by the mineral-rich waters of Ise-Shima and rooted in Japan's sixth-century onsen bathing tradition — the same waters said to have restored samurai after battle. Two private onsen pavilions and daybeds arranged around a thermal spring garden give guests both communal and secluded ways to take to the water, alongside an Aqua Movement Suite offering watsu and other water-based therapies, a dry sauna and a steam room. Treatments draw heavily on kampo, Japan's centuries-old herbal healing discipline rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, which emphasizes restoring balance between body and mind through plant-derived remedies. Amanemu's therapists blend kampo herbs, organic Aman Skincare formulations and locally sourced essential oils into bespoke treatments using seasonal ingredients like pearl powder, seaweed and local herbs; the resort's signature seasonal spa journeys go furthest in this direction, built specifically around the shifting Japanese seasons to rebalance body and mind throughout the year. Four treatment suites and a fitness centre round out the spa's physical offering, with bicycles available at reception for guests wanting to explore the surrounding grounds between sessions. For a more structured stay, Amanemu offers bespoke, multi-day Immersions combining private movement sessions, specialist therapy, spa treatments and complete nutritional support tailored to individual wellbeing goals. Guests with less time can opt for the Wellness Day Program, a single-day retreat that opens with a private movement lesson, followed by a spa treatment and a session with a wellness specialist, rounded out with access to the onsen waters and relaxation facilities. Dining reinforces the same seasonal, restorative philosophy — most notably the Ise Jingu Shrine Breakfast, inspired by the traditional meal served to monks at the nearby shrine — positioning food as a continuation of the resort's broader wellness approach rather than a separate amenity.

Villa Le Corail Gran Meliá

Villa Le Corail Gran Meliá

Retreat

Nha Thrang, Vietnam

Villa Le Corail Gran Meliá, Vietnam's first Gran Meliá property, sits on a private beach at the foot of Fairy Mountain in Nha Trang, with views out to Turtle Island. Wellness here centers on Song Spa, whose entire treatment philosophy is built around the life cycle of a coral reef, drawing on both ocean wisdom and Vietnamese heritage to guide guests through four distinct phases: Grounding, using relaxing and energising touch therapies; Awakening, featuring Thalassa skincare treatments for face and body built on sea-based ingredients; Blooming, centered on locally inspired rituals promoting renewal through marine-powered Thalassotherapy; and Legacy, a broader holistic phase weaving together spa relaxation, movement, mindfulness and wellness cuisine into daily life. This coral-reef framework extends into a modular, multi-day wellness program available in one-, two- or three-day formats, blending spa treatments, rituals designed for restorative sleep, cleansing cuisine and curated lifestyle guidance meant to be practical enough to carry home. The spa's Director of Spa & Wellness has emphasized that programs are deliberately designed for small, sustainable changes guests can maintain after their stay ends rather than a one-time reset. Facilities include steam rooms, sauna, an onsen, and treatment suites offering body scrubs, hot stone massage and body treatments, alongside a fitness center with daily yoga classes. Notably, Song Spa ties its wellness offering directly to marine conservation: through a partnership with the marine biology organization Avatar, every treatment booked at the spa contributes to planting a new section of coral reef in Nha Trang Bay, turning each guest's individual wellness journey into a tangible contribution to restoring the surrounding ecosystem. Beyond the spa, the resort's beachfront setting supports a broader, nature-connected sense of wellbeing — an adults-only pool and infinity pool overlooking the bay, sunset strolls along the private beach, and easy access to snorkeling and diving among nearby coral reefs — rounding out a wellness identity that links treatment-room ritual to the surrounding ocean environment it draws its philosophy from.

Park Roche Resort & Wellness

Park Roche Resort & Wellness

Retreat

Gangwon-do, South Korea

Park Roche Resort & Wellness sits at the foot of Gariwangsan Mountain in Jeongseon, Gangwon Province, South Korea, surrounded by the Baekdudaegan mountain range and designated one of the region's top wellness destinations for 2024-2025. The resort's name draws on local legend and language in equal measure: it's set in Sugam-ri, meaning "overnight stay on a rock," referencing a story of a Samhan-period king who fell into deep sleep there while fleeing war, while "roche" itself means "rock" in French — together reflecting the resort's central focus on restoring deep, restorative sleep. Guest rooms are designed with this in mind, featuring premium mattresses and adjustable lighting specifically calibrated to support restful sleep. The resort's Wellness Club, located on the second floor, houses a yoga room, group exercise room, gym, meditation room, library, a dedicated "Sugam Lab," and spa facilities, complemented by a large-scale meditation space and mindfulness areas on the first floor and basement. Wellness programming spans yoga, Pilates, foam roller therapy, aqua fitness classes that make use of water's natural buoyancy and resistance, walking meditation through Jeongseon's untouched natural surroundings, Sugam meditation aimed specifically at improving sleep quality, and mindfulness sessions focused on breath awareness and mood stabilization. Spa treatments include Swedish massage, body scrubs, aromatherapy and body treatments, alongside hot spring bathing, sauna and steam room facilities, and seven hot tubs with mountain views. Beyond structured wellness activities, the resort layers in hands-on cultural and culinary experiences: farm visits where guests join the resort's chefs harvesting vegetables or feeding cattle, and cooking classes teaching regional specialties like Gangwon-do's famous soft tofu, including tofu-making and tofu cookie preparation. Dining throughout the resort emphasizes nutritious meals built from locally sourced ingredients, designed to nourish rather than simply satisfy. An outdoor campfire zone and glass house let guests take in Jeongseon's distinct four seasons, rounding out a wellness identity that blends sleep-focused hospitality, structured mind-body programming, and a strong connection to the surrounding mountain landscape.

Garrya Mù Cang Chải

Garrya Mù Cang Chải

Retreat

Lao Cai, Vietnam

Garrya Mù Cang Chải, a Banyan Group property in Yen Bai Province in Vietnam's northern highlands, is set amid 400-year-old terraced rice fields cultivated by the local Hmong community and is recognized as the world's largest bamboo structure. Awarded World's Best New Wellness Resort in 2025, its wellness philosophy is built around a broader ethos of "simplified, mindful living," and centers on 8lements Spa, which follows Banyan Group's eight pillars of wellbeing across six double treatment rooms set within the surrounding natural landscape. Treatments draw heavily on local Hmong tradition and indigenous mountain herbs, and the spa includes a premium hydrotherapy system — infrared sauna, contrast plunge pools, rain mist walks and herbal steam — designed to restore balance and harmonize mind and body. For 2026, the resort is expanding beyond self-directed spa visits into a more structured, results-focused wellbeing concept rooted in sports science, integrative nutrition and sleep optimisation. The new approach begins with a pre-arrival digital wellbeing assessment evaluating lifestyle patterns, stress levels and physiological condition, after which each guest is paired with a dedicated Wellbeing Trainer who builds a personalized itinerary — whether that leans toward restorative hydrotherapy, guided mountain trekking, or performance training supported by targeted nutrition plans and access to elite performance specialists. Enhancements supporting this shift include an upgraded 13-step hydrotherapy circuit, new Wellbeing Suites and Wellbeing Pool Suites with in-room training stations and recovery tools, integrated sleep-support technology, and curated nightly Sleep Rituals. New regionally inspired spa treatments include a Herbal Hair Wash using natural infusions and a Northwest Retreat Package featuring pumpkin, Shan Tuyết tea and local sticky rice. Beyond the spa, wellness at Garrya extends into complimentary daily offerings: a panoramic gym overlooking the rice terraces, guided movement sessions, singing-bowl experiences, and barefoot grounding practices set across open decks and tranquil pathways throughout the resort. Culinary programming reinforces the same wellbeing focus — the all-day Refresh restaurant serves nutritious cuisine built on organic local ingredients and traditional Hmong farming methods, while a poolside bar offers lighter, health-conscious fare. Guests can also step outside the resort itself for guided treks, craft workshops, and storytelling sessions with local Hmong artisans and elders, tying the property's wellness identity directly to the surrounding culture and landscape rather than confining it to the spa building.

Zhiwaling Retreat

Zhiwaling Retreat

Retreat

Paro, Bhutan

Zhiwaling operates two properties in Bhutan under a shared wellness philosophy — Zhiwaling Heritage in the Paro Valley, set on 10 acres of hand-carved traditional Bhutanese architecture directly opposite Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), and Zhiwaling Ascent in Thimphu, a more contemporary boutique lodge just 10 minutes from the capital. Both are built around Menlha Spa, whose name and healing philosophy draw on Bhutanese Buddhist tradition, offering a fitness centre, sauna, steam room and, at Zhiwaling Heritage, an outdoor traditional Bhutanese hot-stone bath — a centuries-old practice in which heated river stones release healing minerals into the water for deep relaxation and revitalization. At Zhiwaling Heritage specifically, wellness extends into dedicated spiritual space: a private temple built from 450-year-old timber salvaged from a monastery, and the Samden Meditation House, which overlooks Taktsang Monastery and hosts both individual meditation and visiting yoga teachers running structured retreats — sessions typically combine nurturing postures, rhythmic breathing exercises and closing meditation, all set against the view of the Tiger's Nest cliffside. The property also offers Bhutanese-style massage, a heated indoor swimming pool available year-round, and a tea room serving local safflower and cinnamon herbal teas as part of the broader restorative experience. Zhiwaling Ascent in Thimphu takes a more contemporary, sustainability-focused approach as Bhutan's first contemporary boutique lodge, set in a park-like environment with a versatile rooftop area used for open-air yoga by day and cocktails with 360-degree views of the Thimphu Valley by night. The property offers a full range of spa treatments alongside its yoga and meditation spaces, and its proximity to the Takin Preserve and nearby nature trails gives guests easy access to hiking and nature-based activity as a complement to spa-based relaxation. Together, the two properties position Zhiwaling as offering guests a choice between a more traditional, temple-adjacent wellness experience in Paro and a modern, urban-accessible retreat in Thimphu, both rooted in the same Bhutanese healing philosophy.

Como Uma Paro

Como Uma Paro

Retreat

Paro, Bhutan

COMO Uma Paro sits on a forested hillside overlooking the Paro Valley, just 10 minutes from Bhutan's international airport, and its wellness identity is built around the COMO Shambhala Retreat — a wellness centre with facilities and treatments drawn directly from Bhutan's Himalayan Buddhist culture. Two private Bhutanese hot-stone bathhouses sit at the heart of the offering, alongside an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, a mountain-facing sundeck and an open-air yoga pavilion. For guests wanting complete privacy, each of the resort's private villas has its own dedicated therapy suite, allowing treatments to be brought directly to the room rather than requiring a trip to the main spa building. Signature treatments lean into traditional Bhutanese healing practice, most notably the hot-stone bath and massage using heated river stones, artemisia leaves and Himalayan salt — a treatment used traditionally to ease joint pain and arthritis, with the minerals released as the hot stones crack in water working to soothe the body and reduce stress. A reflexology treatment using foot-based reflex points is positioned as especially restorative after the demanding hike to Tiger's Nest Monastery, while broader Ayurvedic wellness programming uses rhythmic massage and herbal compresses to help restore the body's natural equilibrium. Daily yoga classes run in a studio overlooking the valley (complimentary except Sundays), spanning styles from Ashtanga to Vinyasa, alongside meditation sessions exploring foundational yogic practices like asana and pranayama. Beyond individual treatments, guests can arrange bespoke, multi-day wellness programmes — including Detox, Revitalize and Himalayan Rejuvenation packages — built around personalized consultations and a combination of therapies, movement and nutrition. The resort's COMO Shambhala Kitchen supports this programming with nutritionally optimised dishes made from pure, natural ingredients, many sourced from the property's own organic kitchen garden maintained in partnership with local Paro Valley farmers. Together, the spa's Bhutanese-rooted treatments, daily yoga offering, structured wellness packages and health-focused cuisine give COMO Uma Paro a wellness identity that's both deeply local in origin and structured enough to support a genuine multi-day reset.

Avana Retreat

Avana Retreat

Retreat

Phu Tho, Vietnam

Avana Retreat sits across 15 hectares of forested hillside in Mai Châu, roughly 3.5 to 4 hours southwest of Hanoi, surrounded by terraced rice fields and a cascading waterfall that serves as the emotional and geographic heart of the property. The founders planted nearly 12,000 trees to transform what was once a bare hill into the lush jungle setting guests experience today, reflecting a deep environmental commitment that runs through the retreat's broader wellness philosophy. At the center of that offering is the Orchid Spa, reached by crossing a wooden bridge over a koi pond as the sound of the nearby waterfall builds anticipation for the sanctuary ahead — a deliberately unhurried arrival built into the spa experience itself. Signature treatments draw on traditional Vietnamese remedies alongside more contemporary therapeutic techniques, including a Mountain Stone Treatment using heated stones to release muscle tension, and a contrast-temperature hydrotherapy circuit designed to physically reset the body through alternating hot and cold exposure. Private treatment rooms are set among winding bridges, koi ponds and ancient tree canopies, reinforcing the retreat's emphasis on natural immersion over clinical structure. Complimentary daily yoga is held at the H'Mong Cottage, an uphill pergola with panoramic mountain views, following a fixed weekly rhythm — Hatha Yoga on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and Yin Yoga on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, each running from 7 to 8am. Beyond the spa, wellness at Avana extends into cultural and nature-based experiences: jungle treks to a secret waterfall, electric buggy rides through nearby Thai and H'Mong hamlets, and hands-on sessions with local artisans, including rattan weaving taught by the retreat's oldest craftsperson. The resort also offers structured multi-day wellness packages combining these elements — spa treatments, yoga, trekking and cultural immersion — into a single itinerary for guests wanting a fuller reset. Dining reinforces the same locally rooted philosophy, with seasonal ingredients sourced from nearby farmers and served in fine-dining style, including the option of a private meal beside the waterfall beneath the forest canopy.

Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary

Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary

Retreat

Paro, Bhutan

Bhutan Spirit Sanctuary sits high in the Neyphu Valley, a 15-minute drive from Paro's international airport, and describes itself as the world's only all-inclusive luxury resort built around gSo-ba Rig-pa, traditional Bhutanese medicine. Every stay begins with a complimentary consultation with one of the property's resident drungtsho — traditional medicine doctors — who ask about diet, fitness routines and pain points, check pulse, examine the tongue, and even ask for a guest's astrological sign, before designing a personalized wellness program meant to balance body, mind and spirit for the duration of the stay and beyond. All treatments across the property are 100% herbal-based, using ingredients that include jars of Bhutanese herbs grown on-site. Signature treatments reflect this deep grounding in Bhutanese herbal tradition: herbal compression, hot oil compression, moxibustion, herb-infused hot stone baths, herbal jacuzzis, and Ku Nye massage — a full-body, neck, feet and back massage rooted in traditional technique. The wellness facilities include six rustic, naturally designed treatment rooms with ten treatment beds, plus a heated indoor pool surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass overlooking the mountains and valley. Meditation is treated as a core wellness offering rather than an add-on, reflecting its central place in Bhutanese culture — the wellness team leads sound meditation using singing bowls, along with guided, gratitude and focus meditation, and guests can unwind afterward in a wellness lounge over fresh herbal tea (cell phone use is discouraged in this space to preserve its quiet). Because the resort is fully wellness-inclusive, at least one traditional treatment per day is built into every guest's stay, alongside free yoga classes, jacuzzis and full use of all wellness facilities. Programming ranges from a classic stay-and-treat format to more structured, multi-day journeys — including a recently launched six-day, five-night "Glimpse of Bhutan" itinerary blending culture, landscape and traditional wellness (with a guided hike to Tiger's Nest Monastery and visits to Punakha and Thimphu), and a seven-day Reset & Detox Package built around a digital detox in nature. The resort also periodically hosts thematic retreats and events in collaboration with visiting yoga teachers, coaches, artists and writers, and dining follows a farm-to-table, seasonal-and-local philosophy across included breakfasts, four-course lunches and six-course dinners.

Desa Potato Head Bali

Desa Potato Head Bali

Retreat

Seminyak, Bali, Indonesia

Desa Potato Head sits directly on Seminyak's white-sand beach, functioning less as a conventional resort and more as what its founders call a beachfront "creative village," blending hospitality, art, music, design and community — with wellness woven into that broader ethos rather than confined to a spa building. Its approach leans unconventional by destination-spa standards: alongside more familiar offerings, the property offers in-room Reiki sessions, daily djamu tonics (Indonesia's traditional herbal healing drink), and specialized surf-and-yoga pairings. Guests are encouraged to participate in daily wellness programming — sunrise meditation and yoga are offered every day of a stay — reflecting a philosophy that treats wellness as something guests actively join rather than passively receive. Desa Spa anchors the more traditional side of the offering, drawing on ancient Balinese healing techniques for a mix of treatments including massages, reflexology and facials, with couples' treatment rooms available and a fully equipped gym attached to the spa building. More experimental sound-based therapies round out the menu: a traditional sound bath sits alongside a more avant-garde "light sound vibration" treatment, where guests lie on a vibrating water bed with eyes closed while flashing lights and strobes target the pineal gland — an experience the resort frames as capable of provoking a deep emotional or almost womb-like response, though results vary by guest. The property's ocean-facing pools are also treated as a core part of the wellness program in their own right, offering a simpler, sun-and-shade form of restoration between more active offerings. Wellness at Desa Potato Head extends into its wider sustainability ethos as well — the property was the first Asian hospitality brand to go carbon-neutral, and guests can join a complimentary "Follow the Waste Tour," learning how the resort sorts and recycles everything from food scraps to medical waste, before making their own recycled candles, bracelets or natural dyes in a hands-on workshop. Dining reinforces the same body-and-place-conscious philosophy, with farm-to-fork Indonesian menus across the property's six restaurants and bars, including a cocktail-making class using local arrack spirit and a hands-on lesson in preparing jamu. Together, these elements position wellness at Desa Potato Head as inseparable from its broader creative and sustainable identity, rather than a separate luxury amenity layered on top of a beach stay.

Tulah Clinical Wellness

Tulah Clinical Wellness

Retreat

Kerala, India

Tulåh Clinical Wellness, which opened near Kozhikode on India's Malabar coast in Kerala at the end of 2025, positions itself as the world's first clinical luxury wellness retreat — a sanctuary built specifically at the intersection of ancient Ayurvedic tradition and rigorous modern medicine. The name derives from the Sanskrit word for balance, and the setting is significant: Kerala is where Ayurveda has remained a continuous, unbroken tradition for roughly two thousand years, and Calicut, on the same coast, was where Vasco da Gama first arrived in 1498, opening the spice route that historically linked this region's pharmacology to the rest of the world. Tulåh builds directly on that depth of tradition while applying LEED- and WELL-standard architecture and genuinely clinical infrastructure rather than treating Ayurveda as purely heritage or ambiance. The clinical wing is comprehensive: a fully equipped operating theatre, an ICU, medical suites and 24-hour monitoring support advanced diagnostics, critical care and minor surgical procedures on-site, including genome and microbiome mapping, radiodiagnostics, CT and MRI imaging. For complex cases, Tulåh draws on a network of more than 200 specialists from its JCI-accredited sister institution, Meitra Hospital, built in collaboration with doctors from the Cleveland Clinic, just 20 minutes away. The in-house medical team itself spans modern medicine, Ayurveda, functional medicine, psychology, Traditional Chinese Medicine, nutrition and movement science — a genuinely multidisciplinary model that's rare even among clinically oriented wellness retreats. Every guest journey begins with a comprehensive clinical assessment, including body composition analysis, genomic analysis and microbiome study, before a personalized program is built. Treatments bridge biotechnology and traditional ritual directly: the property's own engineering team developed the Ayurvedic Vichy Bed, a globally patented, world-first design that reimagines traditional hot-oil Panchakarma treatments through a more technologically optimised delivery. Beyond this signature innovation, offerings span Ayurvedic and Tibetan therapies, cupping, moxibustion, IV nutrient therapy, and regenerative treatments including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, cryotherapy, photobiomodulation and exosome infusions. Movement and mind-body practice are built around Iyengar Yoga and Vedantic philosophy, complemented by aquatic therapy, breathwork and sound healing sessions held beneath the property's striking Sonorium dome. The surrounding grounds supply seasonal produce for a therapeutic farm-to-table restaurant, while Wi-Fi-free zones and deliberately quiet spaces throughout the property are designed to cultivate stillness and encourage genuine presence between treatments.

Six Senses Vana

Six Senses Vana

Retreat

Dehradun, India

Six Senses Vana, the first dedicated wellness retreat from the Six Senses brand, sits on 21 acres in the Shivalik Mountains foothills near Dehradun, close to Rishikesh — the traditional birthplace of yoga. "Vana" means forest in Sanskrit, and the retreat draws inspiration from that surrounding woodland, positioning itself around protecting and nurturing guests through immersive nature. It's one of the few places in the world to formally offer Sowa Rigpa, complete Tibetan medicine, alongside a broader fusion of Ayurveda, yoga and natural healing therapies. Every stay begins with a pre-arrival assessment followed by an on-site consultation with a doctor — including a traditional pulse reading to establish dosha imbalances and a high-tech wellness screening measuring around 40 biomarkers — pairing ancient diagnostic tradition with contemporary science before a personalised retreat plan is built. Wellness programs run from a minimum stay of three nights up to 21, organised around specific intentions: Sleep, Detox, Tibetan and Yoga programs typically require five nights; Weight Management and Ayurveda programs run 14 nights; and a full Ayurveda Panchakarma cleanse extends to 21 nights. A specialized Mindful Menopause program addresses the physical, emotional and mental changes of that life stage specifically. Every stay, regardless of program, includes full-board accommodation with personalised nutrition, a wellness screening and consultation, a daily health retreat program with private treatments, and access to group activities — supplemented by optional extras like Subtle Energies treatments, acupuncture, reflexology and structural realignment work. On arrival, guests can also use compression therapy, heated back belts and massage percussion devices to ease travel fatigue before their program begins. The retreat's daily activity schedule runs from 7am to 7pm and is genuinely extensive: four yoga classes throughout the day (Pratah, Madhyan, Nidra and Sandhya), at least one meditation session (seated or walking), Raag therapy — meditative sessions built around the hypnotic sound of a flute, with a different theme daily — fitness sessions spanning aqua workouts, body balance and circuit training, chanting, and music offerings. Guests can also float in a warm Watsu pool, create their own personalized spa products according to their dosha type at the Alchemy Bar, join cuisine and apothecary lessons, and attend talks on Traditional Chinese Medicine, natural alignment and reflexology. Since 2023, Vana has also introduced Grow With Six Senses, dedicated activities for children aged six and up, extending the retreat's wellness philosophy to younger family members through art, music, movement and nature-based storytelling.
