From City Soul to Island Paradise: METT Singapore & Song Saa Private Island Unveil The Definitive New Southeast Asian Escape
Travellers who already make Singapore their transit point, can explore both city hotel METT Singapore and Cambodia's private island resort Song Saa in this remarkable escape.

Cambodia’s most awarded resort, Song Saa Private Island, and newly opened METT Singapore have partnered to launch a new two-country itinerary designed for travellers connecting Singapore and Cambodia, combining a city stay with a private island escape in one seamless journey.
Blending colonial charm with contemporary soul, METT Singapore is set in the heart of the city just steps from Orchard Road, surrounded by the lush greenery of Fort Canning Park, Singapore’s most historic botanical garden and moments from the city’s dining, shopping and cultural precincts.
Before continuing to Song Saa Private Island, guests can spend a few nights unwinding in Singapore, enjoying METT’s signature experience including exceptional food and beverage offerings, alongside access to The Longevity Suite’s advanced wellness facilities. The experience is designed to help travellers arrive refreshed, rebalanced and ready for island life, with targeted jet lag recovery treatments available including cryotherapy, restorative therapies and personalised wellness rituals.

From Singapore, travellers continue to Cambodia and transfer to the coast before a scenic speedboat journey to Song Saa Private Island in the Koh Rong Archipelago, where two private islands are connected by an overwater boardwalk within a protected marine reserve.
Song Saa has operated since 2012 as Cambodia’s first private island resort and was founded by Australian Melita Koulmandas, alongside the Song Saa Foundation, which supports marine conservation and community development initiatives in the region.
The resort offers 24 private villas, each designed to sit within the natural landscape, and guests staying four nights receive daily breakfast, a dedicated Personal Villa Host, daily morning yoga, a sound bath ritual for two, access to non-motorised watersports.
Rather than rushing between destinations, the itinerary is designed to let each place reveal itself on its own terms – beginning with the cultural energy and dining scene of Singapore before giving way to the slower rhythms of island life in Cambodia.

“Singapore is already a natural transit point for many of our guests travelling to Cambodia,” says Melita. “Partnering with METT Singapore allows us to extend the journey in a way that feels effortless. Guests can experience the energy of the city before arriving at Song Saa, where the pace shifts entirely.”
“The combination works because of the contrast. Singapore offers movement, dining and culture, while Song Saa offers privacy, nature and stillness. Together they create a balanced journey through two very different expressions of Southeast Asia.”
The six-night package includes two nights at METT Singapore and four nights at Song Saa Private Island, with return airport transfers, inter-country transfers, and scheduled boat connections included. The price starts at USD 5,100 for two guests, with all taxes and service charges included.
The METT Singapore x Song Saa Private Island package is available to book from 6 July 2026 to 31 January 2027 for stays until 31 October 2027, excluding 23 December 2026 to 6 January 2027.
